Debbie Madden (Founder and Chairwoman, Stride Consulting) has been elected to University Settlement’s Board of Directors, the nation’s first settlement house announced today.
Born on the Lower East Side, Madden is an award-winning serial technology entrepreneur, CEO, founder, and advisor with a 25-year track record of scaling profitable technology startups. She is the author of Hire Women, about gender diversity in tech, and has been the CEO of three technology startups, two of which she founded. She has previously sat on three boards – she is Chairwoman of the Board at Stride, the Finance Chair of the Board for Young Presidents Organization’s Atlantic 13 chapter, and served on the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC Board. She is proud to be a third generation New Yorker.
