EARLY HEAD START
Getting it right from the start
It’s never too early to help your child learn and grow. Our Early Head Start programs deliver free, comprehensive child development and family support services to eligible low-income families with infants and toddlers under the age of 3, as well as families who are expecting.
We provide multiple program options in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including:
- Center-Based Services – Full-day child care that takes place at one of our Early Childhood Centers
- Home-Based Services – Home visits and parent child socialization groups
- Family Child Care Partnership – Full-day child care provided by a member of our network of licensed Family Child Care providers, who work from their homes on the Lower East Side, in Washington Heights, and in Brooklyn
Parents and caregivers with children enrolled in our Early Head Start programs can access a variety of supports designed to help them meet their goals, including parenting skills classes and fun activities for parents and children.
Make us a part of the beginning of your child’s journey!
