Early Childhood

Butterflies, Early Childhood Mental Health
Supporting growth and development for children under 5, their parents, and their caregivers.
Early Head Start
Multiple programs that serve infants and toddlers under the age of 3, as well as expecting moms.
Family Child Care
Full-day educational care for children ranging from infants to 4 year-olds, led by licensed providers in their homes.
Early Childhood Center at 184 Eldridge
A range of educational and childcare options for children aged 2-4, in the heart of the Lower East Side.
Creative Steps Early Childhood Center
Discovery, exploration, and creativity in Greenwich Village. Because children learn best through play.
Children’s Corner
Building foundations for lifelong learning with children 1-5 in East New York.
Park Slope North Early Childhood Center

At East Side Community High School, our Beacon offers a wide range of focused after-school activities, plus summer camp.
College Passport
Our college guidance program partners with young people as they navigate applications, testing, enrollment, and more.
Excel Program for Youth and Families
Fun recreational activities for children, teens and young adults of all abilities, including aquatic lessons, art, and technology classes.
Mental Health + Wellness
Mental Health + Wellness Programs Overview
Striving to make mental health services easily accessible and easier to afford within our neighborhoods.
Consultation Center
Our dynamic, culturally-sensitive community-based mental health program diagnoses, treats and supports children, adolescents, adults and families.
Care Coordination
Partnering with families and caregivers of children (up to age 21) to effectively navigate the healthcare and social service systems.
Child and Family Treatment and Support Services
Caring mental health treatment for children and support for their families, provided through home and school visits.
Families Thriving
Working with families and caregivers to strengthen relationships, prevent crises, and build peace at home.
Family & Youth Peer Support
Pairing young people (0-24) who are experiencing challenges and their families with peers who have experience navigating NYC’s social safety net.
Home Based Crisis Intervention
Supporting, stabilizing, and strengthening youth and families in crisis with in-home services for children ages 5-20.
Prevention Program
Keeping young people in their homes and out of the system by partnering with families to make progress out of poverty.

The center of our campus for Older Adults on the Lower East Side, at 189 Allen Street.
Village View NORC
Partnering with residents of the Naturally Occurring Retirement Community at Village View to create varied, vibrant programming.
Wellness Together Home-Based Care
Improving quality of life for homebound older adults and caregivers with home visits, legal services, apartment safety modifications, and more.

Our community centers in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn are open to all and serve as places to gather, to collaborate, and to belong.
Cornerstone @ Campos Plaza
A community hub that operates more like a “living room” for our Loisaida neighbors, with programs that enrich the individual and the community, held in our gym, theater, digital lab, music room, art studio, and library.
Cornerstone @ Atlantic Terminal
Connect and flow with us at the magnetic center of community in the Atlantic Terminal Houses. Our programs are for everyone, held in our dance studio, music studio, computer lab, and classrooms.
Cornerstone @ Ingersoll
A safe haven for the community and a hub for resources, creativity, and connection in Fort Greene. Our neighbors can explore their purpose and passion in an environment that “feels like family.”
Arts
Arts Programs Overview
The arts change lives, and engaging our neighbors with free or low-cost arts programming is a vital component of our work.
The Creative Center
Bringing the arts to people with cancer and chronic illnesses, as well as families and medical staff, working on-site in hospitals, hospices, and community health sites.
The Performance Project
Engaging young local artists and emerging professional artists with opportunities to connect, create, and publicly present new work.

A Lower East Side gem located within our landmark headquarters at 184 Eldridge Street, on the corner of Rivington, our white box theater is ideal for arts events, fundraisers, and conferences.
Gymnasium at 184
A full-sized (non-regulation) basketball court on the top floor of our Eldridge Street headquarters. Perfect for basketball games, dance rehearsals, and for those who require a low-cost event space.
