Discovery, exploration, and creativity. At Creative Steps, we embody the belief that children learn best through play. Children are encouraged to become self-directed, create curiosity, and solve problems. It sparks imagination, supports children’s language, develops social emotional skills, and enhances their cognitive, math, and spatial awareness.
With five spacious classrooms, we welcome children from 12 months through four years of age. Our teacher to student ratio is kept low, securing individualized care and attention. We work on building strong relationships and teaching our young ones life skills. We support the whole child in their growth across all developmental domains. Children learn to collaborate, be part of a community, and build lifelong relationships.
Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, we have access to some of the best parks, playgrounds and gardens. Our neighborhood walks are never dull with so much to see and do!
For many children and their families, we know Creative Steps may be their first exposure to a school environment, and we want it to be one filled with success, growth and joy. With the understanding that the parents are a child’s primary educator, our partnership with families is full of collaboration and open communication.
Our program follows a school year calendar, with extended day and summer programming. We have Universal Pre-Kindergarten and private tuition fees for enrollment.
